Steve Castledine brings more than 40 years of business experience and independent-publishing work dating from 2012. That experience shapes Casover’s advice on books, readers and spending.
Casover’s earlier imprint published books under its own name, selling mainly through Amazon KDP and its website. Steve worked on manuscript preparation, covers, formatting, metadata, distribution and author support.
Casover’s AI-assisted manuscript reviews grew from work on books submitted through FDC Publications, its earlier website. Testing those reviews helped establish the need for specific, supported feedback.
Today, AI reads and analyses the manuscript. Steve directs the work, assesses the findings, decides what reaches you and signs the report. He has been building and refining the prompts behind it, on real manuscripts, for more than three years. This is not a cover-to-cover human read, and the site says so plainly.
